‘Winter has literally just started’ say Primark fans as they spot the new floral Spring collection in stores
IT might’ve been Christmas Eve just a few days ago, however that hasn’t stopped Primark from daydreaming about Spring – quite literally.
The popular high street retailer, which recently announced it’s not taking part in the post-Christmas Boxing Day sales this year, has left fans gobsmacked after launching its new Spring collection in December.
One customer, Sienna Summers, took to TikTok to share a little peek at the homeware goodies you can now get your hands on in Primark – and there’s not a single festive ornament in sight.
According to Sienna, who visited the store in mid-December, the brand new range boasts all things floral and dainty, including chic vases, adorable mini planters, bedding with a flower pattern and baby pink candles.
As shared in her video, there are also lots of bargain buys in pastel green and other neutral earthy colours, such as green cosy brown throws to keep you toasty and plenty of summery essentials needed for a dinner party – or a picnic in the garden once the weather warms up.
”The floral themes are ADORABLE,” Sienna couldn’t be more excited about her recent find.
However, not everyone will be racing to Primark to bag the latest collection, as for the most part people were totally baffled.
Dozens raced to comments gobsmacked, wondering why the popular discount retailer was already selling Spring-inspired bargains when it’s still winter.
”Winter has literally just started,” one wrote.
”Isn’t it a little too early?” someone else wondered.
A third reminded: ”It’s DECEMBER.”
”WHY?? we’re a week into winter,” another couldn’t believe their eyes.
If you’ve decided to dash to the nearest Primark this weekend, be careful of their prices – shoppers recently spotted a basic maxi dress that’s more expensive than posh SKIMS.
One customer, Mel, from Manchester, was so stunned by the hefty price, she ”nearly fell on the floor” and informed others about the not-so-bargain deal.
After strolling around the local branch, the 24-year-old style lover stumbled across a sleeveless maxi dress in the Rita Ora x Primark range.
The basic wardrobe staple featured a crew neck and came in black – much like the figure-hugging gowns available at SKIMS for around £80.
But after inspecting the design properly, Mel was stunned to find out that the frock was selling for an astronomical £100.
”Primark? £100 in Primark? Never thought I’d see the day.
”Nearly fell on the floor!! I walked past it and thought Oh, it’s nice..does that say only £10?! WAIT £100?!’ ” she went on in the comments.
”Primark x Rita Ora, count your days.”
