Rose Bowl live updates: No. 1 Michigan vs. No. 4 Alabama
Quarterback J.J. McCarthy and No. 1 Michigan will take on quarterback Jalen Milroe and No. 4 Alabama at the Rose Bowl in the College Football Playoff semifinal at 2 p.m., Monday, January 1, 2024.
The winner will advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship game against the winner of the Sugar Bowl (No. 2 Washington vs. No. 3 Texas). Michigan is looking to claim its 12th national championship this season and the first at Michigan since the 1997 team finished at the top of the final AP Poll. The Crimson Tide is looking to win its 19th national championship and the seventh under Coach Nick Saban.
