Brighton Tipped To Send Star On Fresh Loan

Brighton are expected to send midfielder Jensen Weir to another EFL side on loan after bringing him back from Blackpool, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Weir joined Blackpool on a season-long loan deal in August this year but in spite of featuring regularly initially, he has found his chances limited of late.

The Brighton talent has managed just 19 minutes on the pitch since October, prompting his parent club to act.

Brighton have now recalled Weir from his loan spell with League One side Blackpool.

Weir is expected to be sent out yet again to a club where the Seagulls believe he can play more first-team football.

Last season was a fruitful one for Weir as he finished with as many as 51 appearances in a Morecambe shirt.

He helped the team by making as many as 16 goal contributions, which is in stark contrast to his fortunes this season.

All eyes will be on where Brighton choose to send Weir for his next loan stint.
