Cops Rush to Perry High School in Iowa Over Reports of an Active Shooter
Authorities on Thursday morning responded to reports of a shooting at Perry High School in Iowa, about 25 miles from Des Moines.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office confirmed to NBC News that a shooting investigation was underway but provided no further details. Multiple ambulances were reportedly seen arriving at the school and rushing away.
The shooting was reported on the first day back for students following winter break.
