Rhonnda Rebels documentary airs on BBC
A new BBC documentary about the Rhonnda Rebels women’s basketball team has aired on BBC Wales this week and now is available UK wide on iPlayer.
As part of a series on legends of Welsh Sport, the doc focuses on Rhondda’s improbable and historic run that saw them win no fewer than 14 titles in nine seasons in the early 2000s, dominating the English league as a side from a small village in Tylorstown in the Rhonnda Valley.
