It should come as no surprise that many famous actors and actresses’ equally famous offspring and family members have attended the Golden Globes throughout the years, following in their parent’s and relatives’ gilded footsteps.
Sparkly and sleek, sophisticated and sharp, these famous kids have taken style notes from their famous family members, translating said style tips into their red-carpet footwear. These kids are also joined in style by famous child stars who attended the ceremony over the years.
With the 2024 Golden Globes taking place on Sunday, FN is rounding up famous kids’ footwear moments on the award shows’ red carpet over the years.
Gracie Elliot Teefey, 2023
Gracie Elliot Teefey, the half-sister of singer and actress Selena Gomez, attended the 80th annual Golden Globes in 2023 alongside her beloved half-sister wearing glittering sequin Mary Janes in gold. The young star’s footwear featured gold sequin uppers accompanied by pearl and bow appliques, thick straps and short stacked block heels.
Along with her gold footwear, Teefey wore a silver and gold dress featuring a metallic silver bodice and a tulle skirt. Gomez was nominated in 2023 for her work on the television show “Only Murders In The Building.” Teefey was nine at the time of attending.
Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane, 2019
Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane, daughter of actress Patricia Arquette and actor Thomas Jane, attended the 76th annual Golden Globes with her mother in 2019 wearing a pair of sleek and classic black sandal heels. The “Dig” actress’ heels featured matt black uppers accompanied by triangular toes and thick and secure straps that wrapped around her ankles and overtop her feet.
Along with her black strappy footwear, the “I Love Us” star wore a textural black velvet gown featuring a high neckline and long sleeves. Jane was 15 at the time of attending.
Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, 2018
Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, adopted son of actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, attended the 75th annual Golden Globes back in 2018 outfitted in sleek black dress shoes. Pax, who was 14 at the time, was joined on the red carpet by his mother Jolie. The young star’s footwear featured high-shine black leather uppers accompanied by almond-shaped toes and equally glossy lace-up closures. Short stacked block heels rounded out the sleek set.
Accompanying his dashing footwear, Pax was outfitted in a crisp black suit comprised of a tailored blazer featuring a floral print accompanied by pleated trousers, a black bowtie and a white button-down shirt.
Sadie Sink, 2018
Sadie Sink attended the 74th annual Golden Globes in 2018 alongside her “Stranger Things” cast members including Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin. The actress, who was 15 at the time, wore a pair of black sparkly embellished pumps hailing from Miu Miu. The footwear featured black satin uppers accompanied by decorative crystalized buckles that sat atop sharp triangular toes. 1 to 2-inch stiletto heels rounded out the dazzling set.
Along with her designer pumps, Sink sported an age-appropriate Miu Miu dress in black featuring a strappy bodice and a voluminous ankle-length skirt.
Millie Bobbie Brown, 2017
“Stranger Things” star Millie Bobbie Brown joined her fellow cast members at the 74th annual Golden Globes in 2017 clad in a pair of on-trend metallic silver Sophia Webster heels. The then 12-year-old’s footwear featured metallic silver uppers accompanied by thin straps that wrapped around the star’s ankles, threaded through buckle closures. Floral appliques sat atop Brown’s toes, providing the young thespian’s footwear a dainty blooming quality.
Accompanying her silver footwear, Brown wore a coordinating crystalized silver and white dress featuring sheer tulle on the bodice and on the hem. The garment was heavily adorned with shiny crystals and sequins.
Simone Johnson, 2016
Simone Johnson, daughter of beloved actor and former wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, attended the 73rd annual Golden Globes alongside her dad in 2016 wearing neutral strappy sandals. The professional wrestler’s footwear was comprised of neutral tan uppers accompanied by thin but sturdy straps that sat across the top of her toes and around her ankles. Jacob Tremblay, son of actor Jason Tremblay, attended the 73rd annual Golden Globes in 2016 when he was nine years old. For the event, Jacob wore a classic pair of black dress shoes with thin black laces, short squared heels and a streamlined silhouette accompanied by glossy patent leather uppers. “Home Alone” star Macaulay Culkin attended the 48th annual Golden Globes held in 1991 in Los Angeles outfitted in black leather dress shoes. The sophisticated pair was crafted of patent black leather, imparting a glossy finish, with lace-up closures and rounded almost exaggerated bulbous toes. The footwear was stacked atop short rectangular block heels.
The young star, who was 10 at the time of attendance, was also outfitted in a formal suit fitted with a flower and a glossy cummerbund.
