AN esthetician has utilized her background to share a beauty trick that can take years from your face.
All you need is affordable drugstore makeup, and it fixes several anti-aging issues like magic.
Esthetician and TV host Elena Duque (@elenaduquebeauty) shares skincare and beauty tips and tricks online.
She showed in a video how you can instantly brighten your eyes and take years off with only two makeup products.
“I literally look like I got five years younger with this makeup trick that I’m going to show you,” she said as she held her hand over one eye.
She removed her hand from her face to walk viewers through how she accomplished the task.
“If you have dark circles, hyperpigmentation, let me show you how you’re going to get rid of it,” she said.
First, she applied the orange color corrector shade in her inner eyes, then went in with the yellow in her mid-under eyes.
She then corrected the outer corners with the lavender shade and lifted her eye with the pink color.
She used the Kim Chi Beauty Undercover H*e Universal Correction, $18.
How To Apply Color Corrector
- Yellow – Yellow brightens dullness on the face and works especially well to cover dark circles under the eyes.
- Green – Green neutralizes red so you can layer this on top of red spots and blemishes to neutralize the color. Then, you can layer on your concealer or foundation without worrying about your red spot or blemish standing out.
- Orange- Orange neutralizes blue tones in the skin so it works well to conceal the undertones of darker areas such as under the eyes.
- Pink – Pink can be used to neutralize dark spots and brighten up dull skin.Can also be used as a highlighter on high points of the face to brighten skin up.
- Lavender – Neutralizes the yellow undertones on light to medium skin.
Secondly, she topped it off with an ultra-creamy, long-wearing concealer.
For the last step, she set under her eyes with the Kim Chi Almost Catfished That White Powder, $18.
The products can also be bought online from Walmart and CVS Pharmacy.
She advised using it to cover up dark circles, conceal, and highlight.
