Moment two journalists killed in car bombing in Gaza

Two more Palestinian journalists have been killed in an Israeli bombing on their car in Gaza on Sunday, bringing the death toll since October 7 to 109.

Hamza Wael Al-Dahdouh, the son of Al Jazeera bureau chief in the Strip Wael Al-Dahdouh, and Mustafa Thuraya, were identified as the victims of the strike in the city of Khan Younis.

Graphic footage circulating on social media shows the moments after the attack on their car.

Hundreds of people can be seen surrounding the burnt out vehicle where their bodies could bees.

The pair were documenting the aftermath of overnight attacks on homes near the road that connects Khan Younis with Rafah.

Gaza government’s media office condemned the killings, stressing that Israel aims to ‘intimidate journalists in a failed attempt to obscure the truth and prevent media coverage’.
