Driver from fatal work zone crash deserves more than 18 months in jail | READER COMMENTARY
Wait, what? Six people are killed and the prosecutor asks for a sentence of 60 years — with all but 18 months suspended? Is that a joke? Maybe a misprint (“Driver pleads guilty to felony manslaughter in fatal I-695 crash,” Jan. 3)?
Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Judge Vicki Ballou-Watts should reject this request and the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office needs to try again.
