2 killed, 4 injured in 3-vehicle collision in Canoga Park

A man and a woman were killed and four other people injured in a three-vehicle collision in Canoga Park early Sunday morning, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.

Of the four injured, two were hospitalized in critical condition. Two others with minor injuries declined further treatment, fire spokesman Brian Humphrey said.

The collision was reported at 12:45 a.m. on the 7600 block of North Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

No information was available on the details of the collision.

Several lanes were closed near the intersection of Topanga Canyon and Saticoy Street while the investigation continued. Motorists were advised to avoid the area or use available detours.
