Report: LHP Sean Manaea agrees to 2-year deal with Mets

The New York Mets are signing left-handed pitcher Sean Manaea to a two-year, $28 million contract, the New York Post reported.

The agreement gives Manaea an opt out after the 2024 season.

He becomes the third starting pitcher acquired this offseason by the Mets. They signed former New York Yankees right-hander Luis Severino to a one-year, $13 million free agent contract on Nov
