Three Police Officers And Civilian Killed In A Pre-Dawn Militant Attack In Northwest Pakistan

About a dozen armed militants attacked a Pakistani police checkpoint on a highway in the country's northwest before dawn January 10 , killing three police officers and a civilian before fleeing the scene, authorities said.
