The Traitors final date revealed – and fans don’t have long to wait to find out if the Faithfuls will triumph
THE finale date of The Traitors has been revealed – and fans don’t have long to wait to see who triumphs.
Viewers have been left gripped by the new BBC reality show which launched its second series earlier this month.
The Bafta-winning show dropped the first three episodes in an epic launch before continuing on BBC One.
And now The Sun can reveal the finale of The Traitors will air on Friday, 26th with a bumper 70-minute special from 9pm.
It means there’s just under three weeks until fans learn who walks away with the jackpot prize of up to £120,000.
Presented by Strictly star Claudia Winkleman, the show sees contestants take part in the ultimate game of deception.
While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).
Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition
Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.
The last remaining contestant – either a traitor or faithful – is declared the winner.
Average viewing figures from the first three episodes of The Traitors reveal a whopping 8.2 million fans tuned in live.
BBC iPlayer stats suggest a further two million tuned in on their mobile devices.
