Pakistan's remittances increase 5.4 pct in December 2023: central bank

ISLAMABAD, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Remittances sent by overseas Pakistani workers increased by 5.4 percent in December 2023 on a month-on-month basis, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Wednesday.

The workers' remittances recorded an inflow of 2.38 billion U.S. dollars in December as compared to the previous month's figure of 2.26 billion dollars.
