'That should be stricken': Republicans erupt after Dem links Trump to Jeffrey Epstein
Republicans on the House Oversight Committee expressed outrage Wednesday after Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) noted that former President Donald Trump associated with Jeffrey Epstein.
During a House Oversight Committee hearing about Hunter Biden, Moskowitz reacted to sex trafficking concerns brought up by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
"And so, again, because the gentlelady from Georgia I know is such an advocate for women's rights, as she mentioned, and is so concerned about grooming, and apparently we don't have any standards here anymore, again, I just want to remind my colleagues, because, you know, I don't want them to forget about hypocrisy, okay?" Moskowitz said.
"I don't want them to forget about hypocrisy, but, you know, Donald Trump was asked about Jeffrey Epstein, and when he was asked, he said, you know, Jeffrey likes them young."
"How did he know that Jeffrey Epstein likes him young?" he asked as he displayed a photograph of the pair together.
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) interrupted on behalf of Trump.
"I'm just curious about the impugning of the former president's character," he asked.

"He does that himself," Moskowitz fired back. "By the way, please, so you're making the point that we can disparage Joe Biden, but not Donald Trump?"
Chairman James Comer (R-KY) ruled that former presidents could be disparaged.
"But the guy that you all kneel to, okay, associates himself with a pedophile," Moskowitz said, causing Republicans to erupt.
"That should be stricken," several Republicans chimed.
Biggs (R-AZ) said the comment should not be allowed because it suggested Republicans associate with pedophiles.
But Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) said he was offended because he was a Christian.
"The man just said that we all kneel," he remarked. "I kneel to Christ. I stand for the flag, and if you're concerned about prerogative, you should report it, Mr. Ranking Member."
Moskowitz agreed to change his remarks for the record to say that Republicans "very much support" a man who "associates himself with a pedophile."
