Serentica Renewables, which raised Rs 3500 crore for its power plants, wants the government to introduce a production-linked incentive scheme for critical components. The company has signed contracts to deliver 1600 megawatts of round-the-clock power to entities within the Vedanta group, requiring the construction of 4000 megawatts of capacity. The project will cost $3.1 billion, with $2.2 billion in debt financing.
