2023 Emmy Awards predictions by show: ‘Succession’ will end on a high note
Two series will trounce the competition at the long-awaited 75th Emmy Awards, as “Succession” and “The Bear” will come out on top in their respective drama and comedy fields. For its acclaimed fourth and final season, “Succession” will nab six of the seven drama awards, including its 3rd for Drama Series, wins for writing and directing and for three of its actors. “The Bear” will also dominate, similarly winning in six comedy categories for its freshman season. Scroll down for our complete Emmy Awards predictions organized by show.
Our official odds predict a more balanced split in the in the Movie/Limited categories, where “Beef” will take four awards, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” will win two, and “Black Bird” will take one. Movie/Limited Actor looks to be one of the closest races of the night, where as of this writing Steven Yeun and Evan Peters are only 12 votes apart for the lead.
Winners in the competition and variety categories will include “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Elton John: Farewell from Dodger Stadium,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” and “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
