I got my new neighbor’s car towed because it blocked my driveway, the problem is she’s pregnant and very mad

A DUPLEX resident has detailed online how he unapologetically had his neighbor’s car towed for blocking his driveway.

Not only was she upset about the situation, but she was also pregnant, which didn’t help matters.

Reddit user Everydayfxsh revealed in a post why he had the car towed from the neighborhood.

He took to a popular Reddit group to air his frustrations, an online community where you can “give us both sides of the story, and find out if you’re right, or you’re the a**hole.”

The 20-year-old explained that he had been living in his home for about a year and a half.

During that time, his previous neighbor moved out and the current one moved in.

The young man explained that since he drives a big truck, it is difficult to pull out because of how the driveway is positioned.

“My new neighbor recently started parking her car where I back out to get out of my apartment, which is in my driveway,” he added.

He has asked her to move it repeatedly and stop parking there to no avail, so he finally “had it.”

One day, while he was pulling out and nearing her car, he said that she laid on the horn for at least two minutes.

“She got out and started screaming ‘If you hit my car, I’ll sue you for every dollar you make’,” he explained.

He called a tow truck and they impounded her vehicle that same day because it was on his property.

Since their argument, he claimed that she had been slamming on his door “trying to get a rise out of me.”

He added that, in the end, that’s alright because he’s the one with the car.

The Reddit user also drew a diagram to make things easier to understand.

The red lines represent the road, the blue the driveways, and the light blue is where she regularly parked and blocked him out.

He detailed that he parks and lives on the bottom right of the visual, and claimed that the pregnant neighbor lives on the left and should park in the top left.

Most readers agreed that he was not in the wrong and definitely “not the a**hole.”

“Not only NTA but you absolutely did the right thing. Pregnant or not, people like this just do not learn unless there are cold hard consequences,” one wrote.

“Idk why people are asking past this. You can’t block a driveway. No good reason for it, even if she lived in the duplex. You can’t just block that space,” another commented.

“NTA. She has no right to park on property that is not hers to use, and she has no right to block you in,” a Reddit user chimed in.
