Former L.A. County deputy sentenced to 30 days in jail for fatal 2019 shooting

Former L.A. County Deputy Andrew Lyons entered a no contest plea for his role in the 2019 shooting death of Ryan Twyman. It's the first time in two decades that a county law enforcement officer has been sentenced to jail or prison time for an on-duty shooting.
