METAL legend Ozzy Osbourne feared he would get hooked on ketamine after doctors tried to treat him with it.

And the ex-hellraiser, 75, refused to use it again after one session.

Wife Sharon, 71, was given the anaesthetic drug when she was treated for severe anxiety last year.

Ozzy — a recovering drug and drink addict — said his doctor told him it would help with his therapy, but he added: “As soon as it went into my system, I said, ‘F*** this’.

“I got that little devil. I was like, ‘No way’.

“It was a minute micro-dose but I knew it. I was like, ‘No, that’s enough for me’.”

Despite having Parkinson’s and recovering from several spinal surgeries, ex-Black Sabbath singer Ozzy is determined to play some gigs this year.

He has not performed for five years, which is “driving me f***ing crazy”.

Ozzy said: “I am going to try my hardest to do a few gigs. I need to.”

His last full concert was on New Year’s Eve in 2018.

The following year Ozzy suffered a nasty fall while at home – aggravating injuries from a near-fatal quad bike crash in 2003.
