• After James Paxton’s presence was reported at the NHL Winter Classic in Seattle on New Year’s Day, he went conspicuously unsigned in the days that followed. New reporting indicates he might be staying in the AL East this season.
• Marco Gonzales is going to steal someone’s soul when he absolutely blasts a 93 mph fastball through them in his first start of 2024 and it’s gonna be so awesome to watch. He is truly the opposite of the Jamie Moyer career arc.
