However, several customers from kudd.ly have claimed they no longer need to turn their heating on because of how warm they are when wearing a hooded blanket.
In fact, in a customer survey from September 2023, the brand reported 9/10 kudd.ly customers said the blanket has helped them to cut down on energy bills.
But what makes it so great? The hoodie blanket has Breathable MicroCool teddy fleece exterior, and soft, plush and cosy sherpa fleece interior.
It also features an oversized, cosy fit that’s 30 per cent longer than other hoodie blankets.
The product has been awarded five out of five stars online, with nearly 600 positive reviews.
And Vicki and Donna shared their experiences with Fabulous.
Vicki said: “Both myself and my husband have Kudd.ly hoodie blankets and we have hardly had the heating on at all this winter!
“We actually get so hot in them that we have to take them off for a little break to cool down now and again. They keep us super warm!”
Donna agreed: “My Kudd.ly hoodie…..omg, it’s so snuggly and warm. I can wear it for hours without turning the heating on.”
Dina, who “couldn’t afford to put the heating on last winter…got through” the cold months with a hooded blanket.

Rachie has also been able to switch her heating off thanks to the hooded blankets.
Her review online read: “As a family of three we have multiple hoodies and so far this year we haven’t had the heating on yet!

How to keep yourself and your home healthy
It can be dangerous for the elderly, the young or anyone with health conditions to turn the heating off completely.
Age UK says it’s important that older people do all they can to stay as warm as possible.
Cold homes can also impact mental health and motivation.
If you rent your home, it’s worth checking your contract for what it says about heating – some landlords say it must be turned on regularly, or the home must be kept at a minimum temperature.
Turning the heating off completely can also lead to issues within the property – for example; damp, condensation, mould and possibly frozen pipes.
