Duke Recruiting: VJ Edgecombe Update

Is he Baylor Bound?

As we like to say, there’s not much point in getting worked up about recruits unless and until they commit. Currently that’s true about VJ Edgecombe.

On Friday all off the Crystal Ball predictions favored Duke. Saturday?

They all switched to Baylor.

And before that happened, various recruiting entities reported that Kentucky was out.

So what now?

Well, nothing really. We wait and we see. He’d be a great addition to Duke, but if he chooses Baylor, Jon Scheyer has put together a really solid class so far. Edgecombe would definitely have a role with the Blue Devils, but he might prefer Baylor. And that, of course, is his decision.
