I’m a size 18/20 & did an H&M haul – sizing is inconsistent, I found a cute crop top but the matching skirt’s very short

A PLUS-SIZE woman has tried on several looks from her recent H&M haul, but there was a big problem with the sizing that didn’t work for her.

Normally, she wears a size 18/20, but she had to switch it up when she found a matching crop top and skirt set.

Fashionista Lauren Licup (@laurenlicup) showcases stylish looks on her curvy figure.

In a TikTok video, she tried on multiple outfits from H&M as part of her “hunt to find the best place to shop plus-size.”

When the video began, she stood in her home and held a brown bag filled with clothes from the brand.

“I’ve never bought anything from the actual plus size section, so I have a couple of things to share, and we’re gonna see if their plus size section is worth shopping,” she explained.

She first tried on a Puff-sleeved Smocked Blouse in a 3X, on sale for $16.99, and the matching Patterned A-line Skirt in a size 20, also on sale for $10.40.

Lauren admitted that they were not weather-appropriate, but she said she loves a good matching set.

“The skirt, however, has no stretch, and I got this in the US 20. She’s very short,” she said.

“The top is perfect. The fit of the bottoms, though, might need a little bit of work.”

Next, she attempted to put on white jeans in a size 22 but immediately took them off when they wouldn’t button.

“Oh, girl, these are not happening for me,” she admitted before moving on to the next item.

She tossed on a gray sweater with pink strips in an XXL that she called a “good winter basic.

Lauren concluded the haul with the Cap-sleeved Jersey Dress in a 3X, on sale for $15.20.

“I probably should have sized down when I realized that it would be the stretchy material. I’m definitely gonna keep this,” she said.

In the end, Lauren rated H&M’s plus-size section an eight out of ten.

Many viewers related to her sizing issues and shared their frustrations in the comments.

“HATE H&M jeans!!!! I’ve gotten 16 being too big/perfect/tight. So far my favorite has been Target or American Eagle!!” one commented.

“Yeah their jeans are never consistent, and it sucks because they’re all so cute,” another wrote.
