Pensioner forced to scrap Britain's oldest working gas cooker she's used to make 20,000 family meals - as it finally breaks down after 65 years

Val Marks, 67, from Rotherham in South Yorkshire, inherited the New World 42 appliance from mum her mum Grace Marks when she died in 1999 and used it daily ever since.
