The NHAI is involved in about 150 arbitration cases, with claims amounting to ₹1,09,000 crore in build-operate-transfer (toll and annuity) projects. Of these, 95 arbitral awards have been published, with claims amounting to ₹41,100 crore, while another 62 are ongoing cases amounting to claims of ₹83,800 crore.
