Dancing on Ice fans horrified as star suffers first fall of the series
DANCING on Ice fans were left gobsmacked when one of the show’s professional skaters suffered a horrifying fall during one of the show’s routines.
Mark Hanretty, one of the longest serving pro’s on the series, left ITV fans shocked as he took an unexpected tumble on the ice.

However, despite their elegant moves, the performance was left overshadowed by Mark crashing to the ice in the middle of the routine.
As he and Adele skated, Mark’s ankles appeared to give way which sent him plummeting to the ground.
It saw the audience gasp in horror as they could be heard reacting to the sudden stumble.
Former Big Brother star Adele continued but was left looking around for Mark after he was left on the ground when he should have been in hold with the radio star.
The show has seen a slew of falls and accidents over the years but rarely from the show’s experts.
Despite Mark’s fall, the couple managed to gain a high score from the panel but they were quick to pick up on Mark’s error.
It saw Christopher Dean insist that his score of seven was for celebrity Adele and he would have only handed out a six to trained ice skater Mark.
Reacting to the shocking incident on X – formerly Twitter – one fan said: “Not the pro stacking it and Adele just standing there looking at him like wtf u doing down there mate.”
Another then added: “Wait a pro skater slipped up?”
A third went onto say: “As if he fell over and he’s meant to be the professional.”
Before a fourth penned: “I’ve never seen a pro fall over during a performance like that lmao.”
