The Clippers dealt Nets bettors one of the worst bad beats you'll ever see

For Brooklyn Nets bettors on Sunday, almost the entire game must’ve felt like that against the Los Angeles Clippers — until it wasn’t.

The Nets were 10.5-point underdogs against the Clippers and led the entire way, including going up 16-0 to start the game. The Nets were up 114-103 with 5:30 left in the fourth quarter, before the Clippers went on a ridiculous 22-0 run, ending with Kawhi Leonard’s 3-pointer with 29.2 seconds left.

Cam Thomas missed a layup on the next possession and the Nets ended up losing 125-114, not covering for Brooklyn backers. The final 29 seconds was the only time all game that the Clippers were covering the spread.
