Jake Cornish takes a swipe at Love Island’s Callum and Molly amid fake split rumours saying ‘something isn’t right’
LOVE Island All Stars’ Jake Cornish has blown Callum Jones and Molly Smith’s will-they won’t-they wide open.
Speaking as he lands home from Cape Town to The Sun after choosing to quit the show last week, Jake has told how something “isn’t right” with the way the former couple behave in the villa as fans remain convinced that the lovebirds have faked their break-up.
Viewers reckon they split six months ago to create a juicy storyline for the All Stars series.
Speaking exclusively, Jake weighed in: “I’ve been there, lived it, and it just seems to be they just… they never really spoke when I was in there.
“There’s something that’s not clicking with me with that situation.
“I’ve only met them once outside the villa, so I don’t know them well, but there’s just something not clicking with this relationship on telly.
“I don’t know what it is cos if you’ve not seen your ex for six months or whatever it is, and then you’ve seen them straight on Love Island.
“If it was me, and you still got love for ‘em, you’d do anything to get them back.
“I wouldn’t want to see my ex kiss another boy in front of me.
“I wouldn’t want to see them get a massage from another boy in front of me.
“I just think it ain’t right. It ain’t right.”
Fans are convinced Molly and Callum, who met in the 2020 winter series during Casa Amor and went on to date for three years and share two dogs, faked the break.
But sources close to Molly insist her heartbreak is real and they fell out over her desire to make things more serious by buying a house together.
On fan theories the split was all for show, Jake added: “There’s no way in hell I would bring my ex love on Love Island: All Stars to make up on TV.
“I mean he’s got some balls to do that, if that’s what their plan is.
“They’ve got some balls to do that.
“I think Callum’s reactions are natural, like he wants to give it go.
“But I feel like Callum wants Molly more than Molly wants Callum.
“With Molly, I don’t know. I don’t know what she’s up to. I don’t know. I’m still trying to work it out.”
Jake has revealed he grew close to Callum in the South Africa villa, taking time out with the lad alongside Anton Danyluk to have proper conversations.
He added: “I do feel for Callum, because he seems a little bit lost, and I just wanna give him a cuddle. I just wanna give him one, man on man.
“I just want a boy to grab him and say, ‘Bruv, I’ve got you’, you know, just having a shoulder to be like, I’m here for you.
“When I was in there me Callum, and Anton was always having conversations like that the three of us.
“I want Callum to move on and explore things with other girls because Molly is cracking on with Chris, with Toby, With Josh.
“He needs to spread his wings and do the same thing.”
Elsewhere Jake revealed he now plans to build on his DJ career and has a diary packed with appearances.
He added: “I’ve been DJing for over a year now and so I’ll be spending the year travelling with that.
“I’ve got loads of booking across Europe – I’ve got a residency in Zante, Malia, Dubai.”
