I’ve found the perfect winter coat and it’s exactly like Molly Mae’s and it’s a dupe for £2k designer jacket
SPRING might be just around the corner but sadly, it seems the weather won’t be warming up any time soon.
Whilst the weather might be getting us down, one woman has found the perfect coat to keep her cosy and it’s nearly identical to a designer jacket worth over £2k.
As most of us where getting ready to welcome the New Year, influencer Catrina Hogg was already hitting the high street’s sales.
This tactic seems to have paid off though, as the fashionista managed to bag herself several stunning winter coats from New Look.
Though it’s hard to choose our favourite, we can’t help but be obsessed with the faux fur toggle coat – which comes in a gorgeous cream shade.
Perfect for crisp walks on the weekend, the New Look coat is made from super soft polyester and will keep you extra cosy when layered with a chunky knit.
With its black piping, Peter Pan collar and faux leather toggles, this coat also looks much more high end than it is.
In fact, it has an eerie resemblance to a Zara jacket worn by former Love Islander and style queen, Molly-Mae Hague – back in December.
This isn’t the only reason why you might be seeing double though, as the high street coat is virtually identical to coat by luxury brand, Toteme.
Comparing the two coats side by side, the designer coat has a slightly different roll neck collar but is surprisingly similar to the high street version.
It’s also made from real leather and shearling, meaning you can expect pay an eye-watering £2160 for the designer coat.
By comparison, Cartina found hers in New Look for just £59.99 – saving her staggering £2100 just by making the switch.
Unsurprisingly, the influencer was delighted with her designer dupe and took to Tiktok to gush about her latest purchase.
“I’m loving toggles at the moment, this is literally amazing,” she told fans, adding: “It’s literally everything. It’s so soft, I am obsessed.”
She then asked fans: “Can you believe it is from New Look?”
It seems Caterina isn’t the only one who has fallen for the coat, with the video rapidly getting over 6000 views since it was first uploaded in December.
Whilst most of her 77,000 followers were in awe of her fashion find, one user revealed that she had also bought the coat.
“I’ve got the second coat and I love it but it gets fluff everywhere,” they explained, sharing the slight issue they’d experience.
Whilst you might have use a lint roller before heading out the door, we think it is a small price to pay for such a stunning winter coat.
