I met my dream man but couldn’t shake the feeling he had a secret – then his double life blew up in my face
A WEDDING coordinator has told how her dream romance turned into a nightmare after she found out her lover was already engaged with a family.
Nova Jewels, 28, had no reason to expect foul play when she met a man who was in Dundee on business for a few months.
Her friend also took a shine to one of his colleagues and they loved talking about their surprise summer flings.
But after her man suddenly left the country without warning, Nova posted a TikTok video where she described his working arrangements, appearance and urged women to check their bank statements for a specific hotel they often visited together.
To her surprise, the man’s fiancée reached out and learned about her other half’s betrayal.
Nova says: “I’m the most talked about wedding coordinator for my badly behaved antics I got up to doing that job.
“I’ve has flings where I haven’t bothered to tell the other person.
“People act shocked over that as if it’s not something that goes on all around the world every day.
“I hold my hands up and admit I’ve been a bad girl. But I’d never keep it a secret now.
“If a man comes onto me, as soon as I get a sniff he has a girlfriend, wife, or has just broken up with someone the day before, you better believe I’m going right into those DMs and telling his partner exactly what’s what and screenshotting everything imaginable.
She adds: “Three summers ago I was having this summer romance with a guy in Scotland for work.
“I never had any suspicions. They obviously arranged the stories of what they would tell us and they didn’t slip up once.
“I knew he had kids and that him and the mum of the kids were over.
“After summer was over they all got up and left with no notice.
“So I decided to make a TikTok. Within 48 hours I get a message from this girl saying ‘that’s my fiancé.’
“The days he wasn’t seeing me he was bringing her to Scotland on a train with the kids having family days out and going to the beach.
“We chatted and I said I didn’t mean to humiliate her like that on social media. But she didn’t broadcast it was him and nobody knew it was her.
“The more we spoke, and I showed her photos, she showed me family photos of them at the beach and in Dundee too.
“He even lied about his second name. You couldn’t write it.”
