RTE TO BROADCAST ROVERS GAME
Our opening SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division fixture of the season against Shamrock Rovers will be broadcast live on RTÉ2.
Stephen O’Donnell’s men will travel to Tallaght Stadium to face the reigning champions on Friday, February 16th and the game is one of four fixtures that have been selected for live coverage by the national broadcaster.
As a result, the game will now get underway at the slightly earlier time of 7.45pm.
Fixtures selected for live broadcast on RTÉ2 television:
- Shamrock Rovers v Dundalk, Tallaght Stadium – Friday, February 16th, 2024 at 7.45pm
- Derry City v St Patrick’s Athletic, The Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium – Friday, March 1st, 2024 at 7.45pm
- Galway United v Shamrock Rovers, Eamonn Deacy Park – Friday, March 15th, 2024 at 7.45pm
- Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians, Tallaght Stadium – Friday, March 29th, 2024 at 7.45pm
A further fixture on Friday, April 5th, 2024 will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 television from the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division with the selection to be confirmed in due course.
