Buyers and sellers do battle on Wall Street, Dow Jones adds 60 points

NEW YORK, New York - Buyers and sellers kept traders on their toes in the U.S. Friday with the major indices battling for gains. In the end the Dow Jones racked up a modest gain while the Standard and Poor's 500 and Nasdaq Composite edged lower.
