The caller, Kishore Kumar, a Noida resident, wanted to delay his Darbhanga to Delhi flight. He called SpiceJet's office, claiming he overheard a bomb threat at a McDonald's in Connaught Place. SpiceJet alerted authorities, and the flight was thoroughly checked but nothing was found. An FIR has been registered against Kumar.
