The video over-the-top (OTT) sector has sought help from the information and broadcasting ministry and health ministry to find workable solutions for compliance challenges and enforcement of current rules. The government has directed OTT platforms to adhere strictly to anti-tobacco warning regulations, but this may disrupt content viewing and impose extra costs.
