Leeds United. Never the easy way.
We wanted to go into the next round. Today, we are not. Disappointed with it. I am struggling to be annoyed with the performance. So dominant today. Good energy with and without the ball.
Played a good side and the problem was not killing the game. Second half gave us good chances. Third game in six days. Without key players. They had a whole week to prepare, played their best XI.
Good Plymouth side. Whittaker 15 goals. They can create chances in the game. One goal from two chances. We had one goal from our 10 or 12 chances. A replay. Could have done without it, but prefer this draw instead of losing.
Struggling to criticise a bit too much. One moment before the equaliser we had a great chance. Too greedy to counter-press in their half.
Tempted to change things earlier?
I would not say they grew into the second half. This is not a non-league side. If you don't kill the game with so many chances,l they also sometimes believe if we speculate more, more risk, we can score.
They were able to create two chances on these 90 minutes and scored from one.

Big moment for him. Goal full of quality. Showed what he's all about. Great technique, great player. Dangerous when he cuts in off the left flank. To-class goal. Delighted for him.Meant so much to him. Not the easiest few days for him. Better if it had been the decisive goal with a bigger spotlight.
Bench - small squad?
Gray out, James out, and Summerville felt problems with his adductor. Group not too big. All players available in the group. One spot there, decided for third goalkeeper. If you have games with two stoppers it's not a problem.
Players didn't take their chance?
No. Six changes today. Hard for them to feel a healthy moment with that many changes. Due to the load, we had to mix things up today. Lost the rhythm today at times, but dominant today in the main. Overall, there are several good performances. Offensive players did okay. No complaints from me. Sad for them they could not use this game in a much better way
Schedule? Big month?
Yes, but it was the same in January and December,. This league is relentless. We play so many games. One game more to kill us? No major effect. Could have done with a proper weekend off after Bristol, but we never go that easy way. We do this after a tough start. Step by step improve our situation.
Later changes?
In the more defensive roles, there was no need because we were not giving chances away. Normally they create a lot, so our balance was good. Ethan and Ilia covered lots of yards to avoid underload. Before their goal I brought Poveda in because of Gnonto's recent injury. Would have done this even without te equaliser. Patrick's momentum and Junior's momentum was used.
Would have liked to leave them off completely, but we were chasing it.
Finances and logistics for the travel?
The last thing I think about after busy schedule, unbeaten run, wins is whether we can afford travel for the replay. We are Leeds United, even if we go on the bicycle, we will. I am sure we will find some food to avoid starving.
