Delta Boeing 757 loses nose wheel before takeoff in Atlanta

ATLANTA, Georgia: Delta Airlines said the nose wheel of one if its Boeing 757 passenger planes detached and rolled away while it was waiting for takeoff on January 20 at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

This week, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) filed at notice stating that the aircraft was lining up and waiting for takeoff when the "nose wheel came off and rolled down the hill."
