Two arrested in Albany on drug charges
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested in Albany following a traffic stop, according to police. Catherine Berhaman, 38, of Clifton Park, and Nasshaleek Browne, 24, of Albany, are both facing multiple charges.
On January 24 at 9:15 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on the 900 block of Central Avenue in connection to an ongoing investigation. The driver and the passenger, identified as Berhaman and Browne, were found to be in possession of quantities of cocaine and fentanyl, resulting in their arrests. They now face the following charges:

- Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia
Browne
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia
Berhaman and Browne were both arraigned at the Albany City Criminal Court before being released.
