Foreign Minister N P Saud stated that the border issue between Nepal and India should be resolved through political consensus. The technical mechanisms and joint technical committee should find an acceptable solution to the border problem. The recent understanding between the representatives of both countries aims to resolve the issue through dialogue. Nepal aims to increase hydroelectricity production and electricity trade with India and Bangladesh.
