'What are they doing?' Marjorie Taylor Greene blames SEALs lost at sea after drowning
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested two Navy SEALs were to blame after they were lost at sea during a night raid on a ship allegedly carrying Iranian weapons.
According to the Associated Press, Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram slipped and fell while boarding the combatant vessel. A second SEAL, Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J. Chambers, died after jumping to save Ingram.
But Greene told right-wing host Steve Bannon that the men may have been at fault.
"Because it's outrageous," Greene snapped on Monday. "Congress has not voted to go to war with Iran. Congress has not voted to go to any wars, at least since I've been there."
"And then also, why are our troops, why are they being killed?" she asked. "What are they doing that is happening that's causing them to be killed?"

Greene insisted, "There's a lot of questions around their deaths, and the official story is being questioned."
She also spoke about a drone strike that killed three American soldiers in Jordan.
"We didn't vote to go to war," Greene gasped. "The only war that we care about is the one at our southern border, and that's the one that our military should be posted up on to stop the invasion into America."
"But Joe Biden is going to lead us into World War III, Steve, and none of this would have ever happened if we had President Trump in the White House," she added.
