0

The Canadian immigration authorities recently announced that they have moved over 300 Afghan refugees from Pakistan to Canada as part of their ongoing efforts to help Afghan refugees.

On Monday, January 29th, the immigration agency announced a newsletter that approximately 310 Afghan refugees who were awaiting transfer to Canada were moved from Pakistan to Canada on a chartered flight.

The Canadian immigration agency has stated that the newly relocated refugees to Canada are expected to be distributed across 30 cities in the country.

Furthermore, the Canadian immigration agency also added that the newly transferred refugees to Canada have currently been relocated to the city of Halifax in Canada.

This comes after the Canadian Immigration and Citizenship Agency had previously announced that they had relocated 319 Afghan refugees from Pakistan to the city of Vancouver in Canada.

Meanwhile, following the rise of the Taliban, thousands of Afghan citizens sought refuge in various European countries, the United States, and some other nations. Canada is among the countries that have repeatedly relocated Afghan citizens to its country.

Prior to this, Afghan migrants had arrived in Canada via chartered flights from countries such as Pakistan, Tajikistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Albania.
