U18’s dominant in Haddington
The U18’s travelled to Haddington on Saturday morning with a full squad super excited to play. However, Knox didn’t have a front row but did have 15 players. This led to us giving them players throughout the match which was important to keep both teams playing but did led to disruption for playing continuity.
Our starting squad scored 4 trys and 2 conversions in the first half, trys coming from firstly, Callum on the wing, Rory from centre, Euan from 6 and finally Callum again. Fraser provided the kicks.
The second half started with Knox scoring after 15 minutes with 3 of our players proping up their team but we, soon after crossed the line 3 times through Alfie at 10 and twice from full back Jack. Jack converted one of this own trys while Alfie slotted the other 2.
Final score 43-5 with some excellent, linking forwards and backs plays.
