Friends legend and 80s TV icon reveals surprising retirement plans as hit show comes to an end after 13 years
FRIENDS legend Tom Selleck is planning his retirement as his hit police show Blue Bloods ends after 13 years.
The TV icon will snub his showbiz life for plans to hang out on his avocado farm in California.

Tom, 78, says the end of the CBS series means he has more time with his wife Jillie Mack, 66.
An insider told Closer magazine: “He wants to relax on his ranch, walk around his property, spend time with his wife and family, and travel a bit.
“Tom and Jillie can just sit at home, cook, go for a long walk and be very content. He adores Jillie and trusts her to schedule activities or travel plans.
“He’s looking forward to having more free time to spend with her.”
Tom is releasing his first memoir, You Never Know on May 7.
Sources says it won’t be a Hollywood tell-all, but is likely to cover his time on Friends.
The actor appeared in ten episodes of the legendary comedy as Monica Geller’s boyfriend Dr. Richard Burke.
Tom recently paid tribute to Matthew Perry who died in October 2023.
He was found dead in his hot tub from the “acute effects of ketamine,”
Tom praised him as “the most talented of a very talented group of people”.
The actor will retire after the 14th and final series of Blue Bloods, which airs in autumn 2024.
