Mum-of-22 Sue Radford raging as she plans TENTH 18th birthday for daughter Ellie but it gets ruined by vicious trolls
MUM to 22 kids Sue Radford has been left raging after her daughter’s birthday bash was ruined by vicious trolls.
A clip posted on YouTube by the Radford family shows an upset Ellie, who had just turned 18, leaving her own birthday party after a slew of hateful comments online.
Sue explained that she her and husband Noel make a special effort for every child’s birthday so they feel appreciated.
They revealed that Ellie’s bash was the tenth 18th birthday party they’d thrown, and the family has had over 350 birthday celebrations in total so far.
As the Radfords gathered to celebrate, Ellie posted a picture of her birthday dress on Instagram – but cruel trolls picked it apart in the comments.
During the celebrations at dinner, her mum realised that Ellie had gone missing from the party.
The mum-of-22 said in the video: “We didn’t realise that anything was wrong at first. We just thought she’d gone to the toilet.
“But after half an hour, we realised that she’d left.
“Something was really wrong. You don’t up and leave your 18th birthday, do you?”
A worried Sue asked her daughter the next day why she’d left her birthday celebrations, and Ellie revealed she was bullied by online trolls.
She said: “I kind of had my night wrecked because of some hate comments on the picture of my birthday.”
Reading some of those hate comments aloud, the teenager explained someone had written she would look “so much better if she was not so skinny”.
She continued: “They wrote that I look stupid with all my make-up on, my dress, my heels – and then I got comments on my body.”
Ellie added that she had to delete some really offensive comments after the trolling got even worse.
Noel, 53, father of the Rashford kids said that trolling of their family is a constant thing as a result of their public presence.
He said: “We’re adults, we can deal with it. But when it’s aimed at your kids it’s a whole new kettle of fish, when somebody like Ellie is getting abused.”
Wife Sue added: “It is not acceptable.
“Ellie is a person with feelings – that have affected her and it makes me feel really angry – she’s 18, it’s just wrong.”
Sue also revealed in the clip how the whole family gets together to celebrate 22 birthdays every year.
Sue said: “We try to do whatever they [kids] want to do on their birthdays.
“Just because we have a lot of children does not mean we should not celebrate birthdays.”
