The Traitors fans accuse BBC series of being ‘fixed’ after spotting ‘link’ between show and winner Harry’s girlfriend
THE Traitors fans have accused the series of being fixed after spotting a ‘link’ between winner Harry Clark and the BBC.
Harry, 23, managed to scoop the £95k prize last week – leaving fellow The Traitors star Mollie Pearce to go home empty-handed.
Now some viewers have coined an outrageous theory that Harry’s girlfriend and CBBC presenter Anna Maynard may have had something to do with his victory.
Writing on social media, one person said: “The guy whose girlfriend presents for the BBC wins the BBC show.”
Another was quick to hit back: “I don’t think that CBBC stars have the power and sway you might think.”
However someone else insisted: “It’ll certainly have helped him get on the show but he won by himself.”
Anna has presented CBBC’s Got What it Takes? since 2018.
It comes after Army lance corporal Harry claimed he’s still “skint” after winning the £95k on the pre-recorded show.
He told The Sun on Sunday: “I haven’t got a pot to p*** in. I don’t even know when I get the money.
“I’m still borrowing money off my dad now. He has my bank account on his phone because he has to tell me to stop spending money because I’m always broke.”
He also confessed to feeling bad for Mollie despite his victory.
Harry said: “It was a weird rollercoaster of emotions. I was so sad for Mollie, but I was so happy for winning at the same time.
“I was 22 at the time and I had just won £95,000 — but it was at someone else’s loss, and I still hate that.”
