Shocked Emma Paton forced to apologise live on Sky Sports after awkward blunder… but glam host barely flinches
SKY SPORTS NEWS presenter Emma Paton showed her cool as things came crashing down around her live on air.
Paton was reporting on Crystal Palace‘s capture of Daniel Munoz from Genk on a three-year deal when something fell over in the studio and caused an almighty din.
Paton was alarmed when she heard a crashing in the Sky Sports News studio[/caption] But she apologised for the incident and swiftly moved on[/caption] She even saw the funny side of the incident[/caption] And returned to presenting soon after[/caption]The loud crashing could not interrupt the presenter however, who briefly said “Sorry about that” before continuing to give viewers the latest on the deal.
Fellow Sky Sports presenter Olivia Buzaglo later appeared to own up to knocking the item in the studio over on X.
She quoted the Sky Sports video and wrote: “26 seconds in in the words of @MissEmmaPaton sorry about that.”
Fellow fans in the comments commented on how they found the awkward moment hilarious when watching live.

A third said “Oops! Careful”, alongside a laughing emoji.
Paton cemented her status as a fan favourite while presenting the World Darts Championship over the festive period.
