Epilepsy Scotland benefits thanks to GlenAlliche, Douglas Hunter, QPSA and the club!

0

The ‘like and share’ GlenAllachie competition to win a bottle of GlenAllachie 15 and two branded whisky glasses was won at the weekend by Douglas Hunter however he kindly used his winnings to ensure that our friends at Epilepsy Scotland benefitted with a four-figure donation.

Douglas, who is the Bus Convenor of the Queen’s Park Supporters Association, generously handed over his winnings to QPSA who immediately made them available as raffle prizes with any money raised going to Epilepsy Scotland ahead of their annual purple day on March 26 this year.

The raffle raised £480 and we would advise that the club have doubled that amount, and added a wee bit more, to take the donation to Epilepsy Scotland up to £1,000.

Club President Graeme Shields said: “It is great to see a business partner, a supporter, the Supporters Association and the club working so well together to help a charity that means a lot to the people at Queen’s Park.”
