Chilling moment TikToker Mahek Bukhari brags ‘I’m an influencer’ after killing mum’s lover and making haunting vow
THIS is the chilling moment a TikToker bragged about being an influencer after she killed her mum’s lover.
Mahek Bukhari, 23, and her mum Ansreen Bukhari, 45, murdered Saqib Hussain in a fireball crash after luring him in with cash amid a sex tape row.
Mahek was sentenced to life in prison[/caption]The 21-year-old was killed in a 100mph smash alongside his pal Hashim Ijazuddin after their Skoda was rammed off the road in a high speed chase in Leicestershire.
Mahek and her mum Ansreen were found guilty of murder at Leicester Crown Court on August 4 after 28 hours of jury deliberation. They were sentenced to life on September 1.
Now, new clips from an ITV1 documentary airing tonight have shown how Mahek had been caught up in her influencer lifestyle.
The clip, from TikTok: Murder Gone Viral, shows Mahek saying: “Me and Mum went Manchester the other day, just chilling, loving life, like I said mum’s my best friend, I’m always with her. Always with her!”
In another scene from social media, mum Ansreen says to camera: “May [Mahek’s nickname] was like, I’m not doing it, but I made her do it!”
Mahek’s ex-boyfriend Azhar tells the documentary: “She would take her mum to shisha lounges, she would take her to clubs that they would get promoted for – paid for.
“They were living the high life, they were literally clubbing 24/7, going everywhere together… She’s trying to act like her daughter. It was really unusual.”
During a police interview shown in the documentary, Mahek announces to officers that she is an influencer: “I don’t know if I should mention this now, but I’m out there on social media, I’m a social media influencer.”
Asked if she was responsible for the deaths of the two 21-year-old men, she shakes her head and says: “No.”
Det Insp Mark Parish says: “Mahek was more than happy to tell us about her TikTok and Instagram lifestyles. We didn’t have to ask her those questions.”
In bodycam footage taken by police officers at the pair’s house when they were arrested, Mahek lies about their whereabouts when the young men were killed, saying they were not in Leicestershire: “First we stayed here, and then we went to Nottingham.”
Last year a court heard Saqib had been in a relationship with married Ansreen for about three years and “appeared to be in love” with her.
He was said to have poured £3,000 into her on date nights, until things were said to have turned sour.
By January 2022, Ansreen was trying to end the relationship but “increasingly obsessive” Saqib would not accept it was over.
As a result, he “took to attempting to blackmail Ansreen” by threatening to send their sex tapes to her husband, the court heard.
And the jury was told how the mother made the “calamitous” decision to put the matters into the hands of her daughter.
On January 4, Mahek sent her mum a message that read: “I’ll get him jumped by guys and he won’t know what day it is.”
I don’t know if I should mention this now, but I’m out there on social media.

It was then that she and her mum plotted to “silence” Saqib by luring him in and offering to pay him back the money for date nights.
On February 10, he was driven by “completely innocent” friend Hashim to collect the cash from Leicester.
But in the minutes leading up to the crash Saqib made a harrowing 999 call.
He said: “I’m being followed by two vehicles and they’re trying to block me in. I can’t get to a police station – I need help right now.
“There’s guys following me. They’ve got balaclavas on.
“They’re trying to ram me off the road. They’re trying to kill me – I’m going to die.”
After giving his name to the operator, Saqib then begs: “They’re hitting into the back of the car very fast.
“Please, I’m begging you, I’m going to die.”
He can then be heard screaming before the clip cuts off.
Moments later, the Skoda Fabia the friends were travelling in smashed into a tree on a central reservation and “split in two”.
Episode one of TikTok: Murder Gone Viral airs on ITV1 & ITVX at 9pm tonight.
