‘Any attention is good,’ laughs mum who gave her baby a VERY surprising name – she wants to call her next kid Mortician
A LOVING mum has been trolled online after sharing the very unusual name of her baby boy.
The parent, who loves all things gothic, has divided the internet with the very dark and devilish moniker.
While the most popular boys’ names this year include Noah, James, Oliver and Charles, this quirky mum went against the grain and went for something much more unique for her sweet son.
She took to social media to share a clip of her little boy, his fiery moniker and the alternative nicknames she enjoys calling him.
The video begins with a view of the smiling little boy, who looks no more than a year old.
He’s wearing a black-and-white-striped babygrow, making him look remarkably like the Addams Family character Pugsley.
In the background we see a snippet of the family home which features jet black walls and a neon light in the shape of a skeleton.
The mother writes: “My name is Lucifer but they call me…”
She then reveals his much sweeter nicknames.
Her son grins cheekily in the next clip, showing off his tiny little teeth as the name ‘Luci’ pops up on the screen.
She also calls him ‘Luci Goosey’.
Lucifer is seen riding a toy car with his chubby legs on show and wearing a Paw Patrol T-shirt, as nickname number three ‘Lil Guy’ appears.
His fourth moniker ‘Lil Man’ is finally revealed alongside a photo of the young boy reaching out from a black cot while chewing at its bars.
Lucifer may not be to everyone’s taste, but some comments were so harsh the mum had to delete them.
One user wrote: “You should have left the hating comments. Any attention is good attention.”
The mum, who claims ‘Mortician’ is on her dream baby names list, responded: “I know, I kind of regret deleting them all, some were funny.”
One troll who slipped through the net said: “Not a flex.”
To which the mum replied: “Not really your f***ing problem. Bullying a baby won’t get you through the pearlies [pearly gates to heaven].”
Lucifer isn’t the only baby who’s been given a unique name this year.
One mum was inspired by Love Island’s Molly Mae-Hague, naming her son after Molly’s daughter Bambi.
The mum claims that unusual names are becoming more popular, and she’s not wrong.
Another parent has been trolled for giving her youngest baby a ‘chavvy’ name – Starlah.
