Multimillionaire buys daughter, 24, FOUR motors in a month – but she slams the £100k Merc as a ‘little old lady’s car’
NO ONE ever forgets their first car, usually because it’s an old banger gifted to them by their parents.
But for Saffron Drewitt-Barlow, 24, the daughter of well-known multimillionaire Barrie Drewitt Barlow, things are a little different as just she got treated to not one but FOUR luxury cars – and all in a month, no less.
Saffron’s outspoken dad Barrie, who famously has eight children and appeared on Rich House Poor House, revealed on his Instagram he’s gifted Saffron, 24, a Mercedes GLE coupe worth £232k to replace TWO other cars she’d written off.
Thankfully she liked it – and that hasn’t always been the case.
In fact she scathingly referred to one £100k Merc she was gifted as a “little old lady’s car” so Barrie had to send it away.
Saffron, the daughter of Britain’s first gay dads, ex-couple Barrie and Tony Drewitt-Barlow, was then offered another motor.
Barrie says: “She has the tendency of wanting the best of everything.”
He then showed a clip where Saffron, blindfolded, is led to the car.
She hops in it and immediately drives off onto the grass, narrowly missing trees.
Saffron has ‘no respect’
“Honestly, she has no respect,” says Barrie, who is dubbed a “multimillionaire don” by his fans.
He explains how, for their 18th birthday, Saffron and her twin brother Aspen were bought identical Range Rovers but it wasn’t long before Saffron wrote her vehicle off.
In a clip taken from an episode of Channel 5’s Rich House Poor House and shared Barrie says “She has had two cars written off in the last month.”
Saffron’s dad purchased her the Mercedes AMG to replace the Range Rover but Saffron didn’t approve.
“I bought this car and the minute she saw it she hated it,” says Barrie. “I literally don’t know what more we can do to make the girl happy.”
Entrepreneur and million dollar investor Barrie owns acres of land in Florida where he lives with his boyfriend, Scott, ex husband Tony and his new partner Scott, as well as their children.
‘The spoilt child of the house’
Barrie says: “The most expensive thing in our family is Saffron. She costs a fortune to have because in 1999 no one wanted gays to have children so we had to find a crazy doctor in California. It cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to have Aspen and Saffron.
“But I can tell right now, if you have a daughter you need that kind of money in the bank to keep up with them.
“Saffron is the spoiled child of the house,” he adds.
Saffron, mum to Marina, has had lots of different cars over the last couple of years but hasn’t looked after them.
Her worried dad Barrie panics about her when she’s out and about saying: “These are dangerous cars, really super fast cars and I’m worried she’s driving them and not even thinking about it.
“I actually saw the place where she crashed and there’s a skidmark and part of the car still there.”
Super rich dad Barrie has been slammed by trolls for spoiling his daughter Saffron in recent years.
Despite this Barrie’s decided to gift his daughter with a brand new Mercedes G Wagon worth a whopping £232k.
Hitting back at the online trolls who say his daughter is too spoilt by him and Tony, Barrie says: “If I want to spoil my kids with the money I’ve worked hard to get them by Christ I am going to spoil them.
“I don’t give a flying f*** what people think of me and my family.”
